The idea
“Polaris Audit is a headless browser scanner that loads a website cold — no cookie click, no interaction — and records every network request and cookie write that fires in that window. The output is a technical report: which third-party trackers were detected, at what millisecond offset, what cookies were written, and what the relevant regulatory framework looks like for those categories of technology. It does not determine compliance. It observes and documents. Same category as Lighthouse or Screaming Frog. Technical findings, not legal verdicts. Who it's for: Web agencies who need to show a client what's happening on their site before getting into a fix conversation. The report is the deliverable — agency sends it, then charges for the remediation work. Monetization: Free scan → $9 PDF report with full trace + GTM fix steps. Please note that they pricing is still not set in stone, the goal is to get the product of the ground. And as a solo dev, I would be perfectly fine with it generating just a small revenue stream. No grand plans of expansion and a big IPO.”
